I've received as part of a trade the TACP Stryker, but I need some help.

I know that I can add non-skid using Rustoleum Terracotta paint, but is there a diagram of where the non-skid is located anywhere on the web or in print?

Also, I'm going to be building a stateside vehicle (too cheap for slat). I'm assuming that the blast panels are only used with the slat armor, but are the additional armor panels on the sides used with or without the slat?

I appreciate any help!

Scott,
Answer to your second question is yes. There are some state side vehicles that still have their additional armor left on after the slat is removed.

First question, there is a thread here towards the bottom that did the Rustoleum anti slip, you can se the pic and follow what he did.

Scott

The tread refered to is mine

https://armorama.kitmaker.net/forums/129264&page=1

It is on the M1128 MGS. There are other people on this fourm who have better knowledge than I but....in general it is the top flat sufaces. There are some spots which are not coated and the bolt heads are not coated. Take a look at the masking pictures in my thread and if you need more help speak up or give me a PM.

To get a nice finish, plan on a coat of flat black as a base over the whole model before the NATO green. The black then green makes the anti-slip look great.

Some of the Stryker experts may chime in but the general guidance is top flat surface.

Thanks to both of you, it clarifies a lot.

I just wasn't sure, and it always is better to ask than to screw it up!
