This is a old Tamyia 1/35 from 1972!!! This kit required a lot of work because some body part doesn't fit very well. The new one is better.
By the way I start and finish it...
The detail work on the engine made by Tamyia and Italeri parts... You can see the intake snorkel to be attached directly over the carburetor. t also has the muffler mounted on the frame in front of the grille. Radio jeeps needed to be first on the beach so it was important for them to have fording equipment.

Some comments
The red earth need some wash and dry brush.
The eyes of figures need to be redone by changing the order of painting, it should be base coat dark and two white spot not in the middle.
But I am not a figure expert painting.
Because now your GI seems to be under exctasy
cheers

The issue with the eyes is that they are huge. The best way I have found to do them is using a cross method. First put on a thin horizontal white line. Next, apply a thin verticle line in the middle with a dark color, brown or blue. Next, with some flesh color, make the shape of the eyes in a elongated oval. They should be little more than slits.
I'm not the best figure painter, but I think I do pretty well on the eyes.
Hope that helps.
