Tazz,
Welcome back to the hobby and to the best modeling site on the web. You'll find that a lot of the guys (and gals) here are like you-getting back to the hobby after a lengthy layoff-myself included. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask because somebody is always willing to help.

Hey "Taz" was the traditional name for the XO's tank in the company I was XO in. The previous XO's tank was "Taz" for many, many years. It was an M60A3TTS with dozer blade. I took over as we got M1A1s so I named our tank "Taz II", then we got a first sergeant who convinced our commander that all tanks need to have a name that began with the letter "A" for Alpha Company. So it became "Almighty Taz II", then the brand new M1A1 was turned in for a newer M1A1 Heavy Common. It became "Another Taz 3".

Welcome back to the hobby and the site. You will find knowledgeable folks in just about every aspect of armor building. You will get actual answers here without the condescending attitude of many online discussion groups. Most of the answers you will get will be useful. We even have a link meister who is the resident expert of pointing people in the right web direction.

Hmmm...how incredibly presumptuous of me Tread!

But, if it is I that he speaks of, Gunnie has a good idea...we'll just do this for starters
