Hello Guys!

First post here regarding pics; also, first time using pigments. This phase hasn't finished... I think I still have some additional pigment application to do...

The model a slight sheen to it... that's the future that I used to seal the pain before the washes. NOw, did I screw up here? I think should have sealed with the matt before the mud. Can I spray softlt the matt over the pigments?

It's a model that I haven't finished since it came out (and haven't touched anything else), so I'm pretty sure I forgot some of the skills. No practice kills you.

Please let me know what you think.

Thanks!!!

Hola Jorge and welcome!
Firstly I think the muddied effect really looks the part. Do you expect it to change much from the finish you have here? If not I'd leave it as is, maybe add some spots of wetness which will add a sheen in places and also be a little darker to break the uniformity?
That first pic of the rear looks brilliant, although I'd add mud in the treads of all tyres on a consistent basis. Not being a truck builder but a Sherman builder, the rear lights look the same as the Sherman, and as such the right would most likely not have the red top oval, but instead a slit of translucent black lens? Only the left top oval was red, with the others being this black.
Keep up the good work
Brad

Great job on those pigments. I just don't know if i'd put that on top of a DVD player. But great job on that one.

Thanks, guys. I must say, I'm pretty much impressed ith the ease of this pigment application procedure.

Never thought it would come out so nice, let alone from the time, especially after my 5 or 6 year modelling "hiatus."

I just viewed the MIG Productions FAQ Pigments DVD, recalled my past off-road jeeping days for the mud application, and that was it.

This really makes a model stand out from the rest. A soon as I finis this, I have a stryker to paint and finish!

Update pics. "Mud" looks wet, because it has just been applied; should look like the dry one in the end.

Also included a pic of my Striker WIP (no primer yet), and a pic of my temporary workbench. I recently moved, and I'm still trying to get my home office set up, which is where I also model my stuf.

It's been a nice comeback to the modeling world after su a long hiatus....

As always, please comment.

And now, the hellhole... a bit cluttered, for now.
