Does anyone know a site with colour photo's of knocked out/ burnt out ww2 tanks? If anyone does, I'd be grateful if they could give me a link or any help. Even good pictures of modern tanks with damage would be good, as long as they're good photos that you can see the hits on.

Hi, I would think that knocked out color photos of world war II tanks and other AFVs would be kind of hard to come by. But there is a few color photos out there, I'm sure, someplace or other. As there is some color movies that were made during that time too.
There is a tape out called 'George Stevens: D-Day to Berlin' that is all actual color movies of the war. It's been a while since I've seen it, but you could check around at the various vidio stores and you may happen find it, or they could order it for you. This could possibly have some side shots of wrecked and blown up vehicles in color on it.
I've seen lots of photos of burned out and wrecked AFVs from the Gulf War era and I would imagine there are the same from the recent Middle Eastern conflict as well. Also don't forgert the other Middle Eastern wars since W. W. II. Check the library or book stores.
Also start taking a real good look at automobiles you might happen to see around junk yards or gas stations or auto body shops that have been burned out. This should give you a real good general reference about the colors involved in burned out hulks.
Take care and good luck. sgirty

I did a Google Image search for "destroyed tank" and got a bunch of cool pics. Hit the link. Be sure to check out the Hellcat with the three holes punched right through the front of the hull... Ouch...
