Are those snowshoes at the back of the vehicle above (sorry, I'm not into modern stuff, so I can't identify it)? That would be an interesting detail...

Yup, the infantry use them for dismounted attack during snow conditions.

The CV-90 is one of the very few vehicles I have left on my wish list that is not made in plastic or resin by any company. Trumpeter, Hobbyboss, someone, please we/I need this one in kit form.
