I just got the July issue of Fine Scale Modeler and there is an article about an Ablion refueler used by the RAF. The article states that this model is 1/72nd scale. Is that right? If it is it is one of the best models I have ever seen. I think it almost has to be a typo. The scale almost has be 1/35th... What do you guys think?

I agree, it's an excellent model, and yes, it's 1/72 scale. I have been buying a few "brail scale" kits to try. I built a few years ago.
I just finished the Airfix K2 ambulance. I added cab steps and mirrors from wire and scarp resin. It's not in a class with the Ablion, but here's a pic.
These little kits are a fun break from 1/35 scale. They cost less and, for the most part, are quicker builds.
