Sweeeeeeet! Very nice TS! Great to see a Brit wearing the KD jumper. Is that the "bunny" jacket the standing figure's wearing? Wonder what the 2nd head's going to be
Thanks for sharing!! Not often we get to "see" the master at work

Terrific work Taesung. Don't forget about the field dressing pocket on the shorts.

Hey Taesung,
Sorry, yes, the South African army continued to use BD's into the 60's/70's when my father served - he always called it a bunny jacket, but perhaps that was a local term for it
Nice to see the good mix of BD and KD

Hi Teasung,
Brillient stuff so far. Glad to see someone finally started to mix things up a bit in the order of dress, very common for soldiers in the field in MTO.
Great to see more British/Commonwealth troops.
Thanks for the pics.

Amazing work Taesung, I'm especially impressed with how you have the clothing drape in such a natural way for the figure's positions. Really, really excellent work. Of course now having seen yours, I'll have to scrap my own current creations and try again
Seriously though, your work is fantastic and thanks for sharing it with us.

Thanks, Gents!
No, I won't forget the pocket on the shorts.
For more realistic folds and wrinkles in the clothes,
I have my wife take pics of me posed and dressed
in "similar" clothes.

Carved out of a block of resin and layers of putty added.
It's about 1 cm tall. It was my first time sculpting something
other than a soldier... This puppy will go with the Brit figures.

Hey Taesung !
Brilliant sculpting as always, my friend ! The little puppy is certainly an inspired touch . I'll definitely be getting this set once it's out. Any ETA on the expected release date ? Cheers !

Taesung,
Excellent job on the pooch. Will this be a "special" extra only with the boxed pair? Or will it be available with one of the figures as well?
Kenneth,
These figures are due for release in January 2009, along with a new 1/16 scale figure
I reckon if these releases (this set and the 1/16 figure) are anything to go by, 2009 is gonna be a bumper year for Alpine

Taesung,
I am of the opinion that you are one of the very BEST sculptor of scale figures working today (Mike Good being another). Superb work in every way: poses, proportions, likeness, draping, fidelity of detail. I'm a commercial illustrator, and know exceptional talent and skill when I see it.
Do you have any intentions of expanding into other scales and eras?
They would be most welcome as well.

Thanks for the kind words. I do plan to sculpt at least one 1/16 figure
in the new year.
