True mate, but to me it still looks like a T-72 turret with extra armor welded on.

About the kit itself, I've finally found photos of its sprues and the quality and look of the parts remind me of a very old Tamiya kit. Details slightly blurry, bluntly defined lines and edges, etc. But it looks like fun and i'm going to give it a shot.

Okay, forget about the Type 98 and the T-80. I tried to get the Type 98 put aside for me until i can go to the hobby store and get it but some cheeky bugger got it before me. So i then asked if they still had one of the three T-80s they had there last week but they too had all been bought by the same bloke as the Type 98. And to top it all off they dont have any more Tamiya T-55As. So i'm back to square one again.

i've had a look through the store's online catalogue and i've decided that i'll get a Trumpeter 1/35 E-25.
