Hi Calvin,
I don't believe there is any single "best online shop" - each shop has different ranges of products, different prices, different SLA's. I believe one needs to shop around.
That said, Colorado Miniatures, El Greco Miniatures, Military Model Warehouse, all good in my opinion. I've also used Modelsforsale.co.uk, Andrea miniatures, LuckyModel, ModelEasy and again received what I wanted, at a good price (postage from Spain was a killer tho) in good time. I apologise to those vendors I've dealt with and neglected to mention.
Let me ask though, are you asking in general? Or with a particular subject in mind?
Rudi

Ok, so general WW2... very broadly you could try anyone of those vendors (except maybe Andrea), but if you'd need to be more specific if you're looking for a particular kit/figure. If it were me though, I'd browse through the sites I mentioned - they're all good

Hi Calvin,
You could also try Squadron, they seem to have all the brands you mentioned. That said I've not bought from them personally but have been told they can sometimes be pricey. The one major benefit for you is that they're US based, so postage should be a bit more reasonable
Rudi
(p.s. when looking for Platoon, you may want to search under Pegaso )

Military Miniatures Warehouse All things US up to WW II with some of the newer Axis figs
The Red Lancer just about everything
Colorado Miniatures Not quite as extensive as Red Lancer, but still very good.
Sentinel Miniatures More on the "traditional" side of the hobby. He has a storefront just north of NYC
All these dealers provide excellent service.
