There are quite a number of factory pictures fromn that era available online.
A german factory would not be any different from any European factory, I guess.

Is there anything specific you're looking for? There are many factory pics in my references. Any particular manufacturer? Alkett? MAN? etc.

Hi Chris
Bundesarchiv images are now freely available on wikipedia. 100,000 images. Some amazing stuff, much of which could be suitable for your needs. I went through ´39 to ´43 yesterday, and have a bit to go yet, but saw quite a few factory/building images.
Direct Link to archive by year

Like Frank says, Bundesarchiv images are now freely available on wikipedia.
Go to 1944, photos are grouped in 200 per page. Go to the third page. Look about 3/4 down and there are a couple dozen pictures of a tank factory.

Thanks for the link Frank.....
Now I'll get even less modeling done, perusing through more photos.
