i bought the tamiya m113 acav at telford
i was thinking of putting it into a diorama

the basic hull is compelte with a layer of paint and ive started to apply the decals. then i worked on the roof its not perfect and i still need help on how to paint the peresecopes the right colour aswell






then i built the 50cal turret its fiddely the shields on the side didnt line up properly for some reason





then it was on too the m60 sheilds they went together without out any hastle





i built the interior but im not going to add much detail mainly ootb
because your not going to see it that well





thats it for now im not at home due to family issues so it will be a few days before any progress,

feel free for any comments and suggestions will be gratefully recieved

Looking good - got to love the colourful markings on the ACAVs!

Interior needs to be a light green, and Legend does an excellent accessory kit for the ACAV, which includes the sandbag floor, which I fitted in one of my Aussie 113s.

Check references...I don't think the US had gone with sea foam green interiors during the Vietnam period.
