Doing my first camo German marder 1a modern black, brown and bronze green base coat. I would like to get a better blend of the camo pattern; I've heard an overspray of the base coat would do that. Any suggestions to make it look a bit faded. When dry brushing do you dry brush each color of the camo individually or do you use light version of base coat?

I would use lighter versions of each color in your airbrush to fade the camo, and then a VERY subtle spray of the base color if you feel you need to blend the three colors together.
For example, on the black portion, add some white to your black until you get a very dark grey and then spray the center of the black sections with this mix. I would paint some black on a box or scrap model and test it before you put the paint on your model.
Good luck.
