hi. this is my first resin figure i have made, in fact it is the first resin i have worked with. i really like working with resin, there is much more details. i am not finished yet, i have not put on any of the misc pieces and i havent dirtied up the boots yet.

this is my third figure ever (that i painted and detailed) and i see improvement in each one. i hope you like it. sorry for the dark pictures, it is the best i could get

thank you for your kind words. the skin, i havent gotten good yet, but i think i know what i am doing wrong. the way this was painted i started with the dark color first the lighten it up by mixing in lighter colors and overlay it.
the figure is nemrod's airborne pathfinder. i like it a lot.

(i hope the person who made the site doesnt mind me linking it, if they do let me know and i will remove it)
i really need to practice on the faces, that is what i am least happy with.

reall good approach for the 3rd figure!

see pic of original US WW2 airborne jumpjacket which belonged to the famous character of the HBO BOB-series Dick Winters ...

the M42 jumpjacket is the version without reeinforments on ellbows and pockets

i took this pic in 2004 at the 60ies anniversary of the D-Day in Normandy St. Mere Eglise

see another shot made at the same location of a trooper wearing the reinforced version of the M42 jumpsuit ... - see reeinforcements on the kneetabs - pocketsand ellbows
