Hi mate,
Nice dio you have there, love the haggered guy in the 250. He looks like he needs some R&R. Would you mind telling me which paint you used for the uniforms? I used to use Humbrol 111 but thry don't make it any more.
The only minor thing I would possilby change is the yellow colour on the buttons for the senior officer, but maybe its just the photo that makes them look this colour.
Good job mate
Cheers

I like it. Composition is nice, and there isn't too much to distract from the main focus of the sceen. Grass is very well done. (I think I recognize some of those Tamiya figures.)
Did senior German officers really wear blue pants, or is just the lighting? I know Red Army officers did early in the war.

Hey guys,
To answer a couple questios....The figures were painted with W&N oils over vallejo acryllics. I am still learning how to mix my own colors with oil paints so yes the trousers are a little on the bluish grey side. The officers rank was supposed to be more of a golden color but didn't quite turn out right. Anyway thanks for lookin'!

Nice composition Art! The figures do look great as do the vehicles. The only thing I could see you change would be the base grass which is a little too all-encompassing? Some bare areas of dirt with grass patches may help to 'break it up' a bit...
Good stuff

Very well done!!
The figures look really good. The vehicles too, but could use some extra weathering, I think.
The tall bushes of grass are a bit off unfortunately.
In all a great looking dio which would look even better with a little bit of extra work.

Love it! only the above mentioned yellow and some of the clumps of grass look a little uniformed, like upside down brushes. I think the colour of the 250 is Spot on! Not many people get German Tank grey right. Fantastic LOL Geraint Merry

Thanks for the comments all! The grass definately didnt turn out as well as I had hoped. I was in such a hurry to complete this dio before Christmas I completely to add a little dust to the vehicles and the boots on the figs. I'll have to go back and touch it up. Merry Christmas to all! Thanks again!

Hi Art,
Well done. Composition, painting, ground work...I hope to aspire to such quality someday.

Hi Art,
Very good scene with the figures well placed and a couple of good vehicles. The small rise in the hill is a nice touch. Brad mentioned the grass and the only other thing I can think of is that if this was summer in Rusian it is likely to be very dusty so a good coating of dust across the vehcles will help take the newness off them.
Very ncie work indeed one to be proud of.
