Hey guy's,all these models look great.as for the ration issue i know that we used both American and British.(i was in a Warrior OPV during Telic 1,so i know)
Both paints are close and yes the kit on the first Warrior is slighty off but it's all good.Iv already made a OPV so i will try to add photo's but i cant get any more on ths site coz iv used up all my space,i will be making another Warrior OPV with the bar armour, coz iv just got back from Afghan where we used Warrior to fight the Taliban.Pic's to follow.
Thanks

Good to know. Would look pretty cool with them mixed on a vehicle.
Here's a question...Which did you like better ours or yours?

The worn desert paint on the vehicle looks good but is it showing bare metal underneath? The desert yellow paint was sprayed over the normal green which is pretty hard wearing so it would be more probable that this would show through. It is always nice to see modern British stuff.

Thanks. To do the webbing, I first glued all the gear in place on the hull, already painted and weathered. I used 2mm chart tape and laid it out in horizontal and vertical lengths over and around the gear. I used a dot of superglue each place the tape crossed and to attach it to the hull. Once done, I carefully painted the straps with a fine brush and OD paint. I added a little pastels to blend them in, and that was it. It took a while, but I think it came out pretty nicely.

Hi guys some great looking builds there , i have a question for you Warrior experts out there - my half brother was in the Royal Arty in the first Gulf war and crewed one of there Warriors that has had its main gun removed for spotting and has a dummy gun in place. Does anyone have any pics of this model? I have a couple of Warriors in the stash and wanted to make one up for him. Is there a conversion kit out there for them and does any one have marking info for Op Granby Warriors in the Royal Arty?
Many thanks

Accurate Armour make the Warrior OPV conversion. Pretty nice resin, comes with the MSTAR radar and mast too.
Why plan when you can react?

Thanks Graeme , ill just have to see how easy it is to find over here. I havent found much info on them in the few searches ive done on google. My brother had a few good stories from Op Granby - like breaking down in the middle of nowhere and almost running into some Iraqi armor

Oliver,
All I know is this:
"By 1999, the GS rations were phased out and the newer GP (General Purpose) ration packs became the primary operational ration pack."
I'm not sure when the GP rations were introduced and I have no idea what they look like.
Some day I'll get around to making the graphics for the GP 4-Man Ration Pack as I've got pictures and measurements.

Thank you for your answer Paul.
I'm pretty sure some of the Brits around will pop up and tell us the "truth" about their rations.

Hi All,
I thought the letters on the flags said 'OK !'. I imagined some enterprising soldier had done it to say UK or BRITAIN (represented by the flag) OK!
Just a thought
