Evan, don't know what scale your looking for but have you taken a look at Downtown deco's latest release is a damaged building made from plaster. I know that CC Crow also makes generic walls made of plaster but again don't know what size you need, Pat

Monroe Perdu makes a few middle eastern pieces that could easily be incorporated into an Iraqi scene.

I can second Scott's advice. I used Olivier's feature and got great results. It is very easy to do. My only caution would be to mold the building face down. That way your flattest side is the outside of your building. Of course you can sand the other side, this just makes your job easier. I hope this makes sense.
Here is my mold...
And here I am filling it.

Evan:
I made walls/buildings out of scrap drywall. Just peel and remove the paper on the outlside, then you have the plaster to work and shape as you like. Its affordable and comes out very nice. Just a thought.

This technique of making walls i also will try in the near future. It provides you the freedom you like to have for creating a diorama, and the technique doesn't seem that difficult.
I must agree however that the Dioramas Plus building and the Monroe Perdu building look very nice! Worth considering buying them!
Happy Holidays and spent your free modeling time wisely!
