Hi guys...

I am after reference pictures of the german Panzer III - I am building version L (Tamiya kit) and I would like to depict a tank in service on the russian front with the Ost/ Winterketten (snow tracks).

I've been searching for some time and even bought the Squadron 'PIII in action' book but found very little info on those tracks. Also, I heard somewhere that germans used trailers behind their Panzers to transport more ammo/fuel???!

Is that correct? Anyone got pictures I could use for reference?

Thanks!!!

Have you looked over on Achtung Panzer http://www.achtungpanzer.com/profiles.htm I am not sure if they have exactly what you are looking for but it is the site i head for first when it comes to German WWii armor.

Thanks chipotle... yes I did search achtung panzer and missing lynx too but couldn't find pictures or more details (when introduced, how common, etc)..... there is even less info on the trailer.

I found a 'fuel trailer' kit from a company called MMSModels for Panzer III / IV but again no pictures. Their web page did't load...

So yeah.. if anyone has a link with more info or would share pictures from a private collection - I'd really appreciate it!!!!

Try this one. http://www.military.cz/panzer/index_en.htm
Also, on the main page to Armorama, scroll down to the bottom and there is a rather large set of links to references. Good Luck
