I am planning to get started with Tamiya’s M247 Sgt. York (Air Defense Gun System) kit.
Do any of you know a good reference source for this vehicle? – I would highly appreciate any help!
Best regards,

Couple of links...
One has pictures of the built up Acedemy kit and the other a couple of pretty blurry color photos of the real deal.

Corbis (www.corbis.com) has one. Do a search for 'Sgt. York' and it is about halfway down the first page.

Bjoern, how much work do you plan to put into your York? I ask because the Tamiya model is far from the real thing - they used standard M48 hull from their earlier model, while in fact the York hull was heavilly modified, particularly the engine area. So if you don't want to spend a lot of time scratchbuilding major parts, you better build this model out of the box without checking too many references and try to have fun doing it. But if you want to build an accurate York, than you need A LOT of quality references to correct all Tamiya's errors. Unfortunately I don't have any I can offer to you...

Thanks for the replies, photos and links.
I dont' know yet, if I will build this OOB or try to scratchbuild the errors!
