Great job overall. I love seeing these 1/72 scale dioramas.
I would suggest that you add a bit more rubble in front of and behind the Tiger.
I would also fill in the gap on the edge of the road piece, then sand it down.
Other than that I love the detail and the composition is good.
Well done.

Hello Char, I have been searching for a start point in a new diorama, with this site having so many great dioramas to pick from, I simply get overwhelmed, I have been scanning through the 1-35's and then came across your diorama, which looks great, and that's almost what I had in mind, I remember an old film, American soilders creeping along a wall and German soilders walking on the other side totally unaware they were there (ships in the night I suppose) to crank this up a bit, I've seen 1-35 German's sitting down playing cards next to their tank, an old broken wall, and perhaps the same sort of American/British soilders on the other side, I don't really want to buy a diorama base, I'd rather D.I.Y the same as yourself, on the scale of things, where would you actually start to find a scale for a base ?

I am a WWII films fan too, especially European battlefield films.
I agree with you,I am not such buy diorama base.I reference some of 1:35 dio base kit and old WWII photographs to build.
