The second chute is much better than the first. The composition is great on this diorama.
Tell us how you did the chute.

Well here's few in progress pictures of parachute...
First problem was to decide what material (something thin) to use for canvas and after trying with handkerchief paper, plastic bags and even window curtain I saw something in my wife kitchen (pic 1). Not sure what is name but is something like kitchen foil . It's thin but to much flexible. that was problem no. 2 . Then I used my sons balloon and fix it on some box.... cover it with foil and secure it with rubber band... so , upper half on balloon is parachute canvas... Now funny part starts... White glue has to be spread all over upper part but very thinly .. first layer of white glue was mixed with water but just a little and second layer was pure white glue. Then strings has to be attached over canvas, strings are plain thread for sewing which was run thru candle wax. After positioning strings , once again white glue was brushed but only over strigs on canvas.. after that let it dry and than paint.. Some thin wire is inserted under canvas so it looks like it's inflated with wind. i gues thats all folks. Hope you like it and even use these technique for Your future projects..
Cheers (sorry for my english)

Hi Robert,
Nice looking dio, it's developing well. I'd be inclined to move the bike back off the bridge a bit if there is room. The papachute is great lol, lol. One observation; SAS berets were a sand colour, they did wear the red beret too, but it might be worth checking on.
Really cool idea and I like your bridge and ground work.

Hi James, idea for this dio is: supply canister was air droped, SAS team arrived and hide their jeep under the bridge, two of them are securing the area , germans arrived and sas eliminate them, while two others are dealing with parachute and suplies... for the guy near the canister : he's checking canister and I guess in left hand he will have radio , sending massage to HQ : package has been delivered

Great stuff Robert !!,your English is very good too.(Itīs better than my Croatian because I only know how to say odjebi, which isnīt much is it?) Iīve followed this build from the start so Iīm a fan of yours. Without wanting to criticize anything ,may I suggest a pin wash of a darker colour for the gaps in the paving on the bridge. Your ideas are an inspiration.

Robert, looks great! Very innovative how you did the parachute! One comment, if the chute is billowing, the lines will tend to have less slack than what you have portrayed.

Robert,
Good work! The dio is really coming along. And very innovative idea for the parachute...I would have never thought of doing it like that.
Are you going to keep the roadway dirt or add some pavers of some sort? If you keep it dirt, might I suggest putting a little bit of dirt on the bridge road surface where it meets the dirt roadway. Vehicles going from dirt to pavement would carry some dirt onto the bridge and that would also provide a little bit of a transition from the dirt to the pavement instead of the stark line between the two that you now have.
Bill.
