Well I just finished painting with MM Sand airbrushed over some pre-shadeing and applied a acrylic clear over these hummers. the avenger is left without wheathering for further advice on what i should do to it next.

This one has the clear acrylic with a brown pastel wash applied. Does it look alright?? Or should I apply a filter before I add the pigments dust??

They look pretty good. The brown wash on the 4-door looks good. You should do the same w/the Avenger. Alos, you should really do washes and weathering after you apply decals. The rear side reflectors should be red too. All rear reflectors are red, all front refkectors are amber. Good start. Keep us updated.

It looks good. Try to do the same on your Avenger. Always start with filters and then with pigments. A filter will make the pigments wet again and then you wipe them out. This could ruin your model.

Well guys I added some wear and tear to the supply hummer and went in to add the decals and then a wash over them. I did the same wash to the avenger, and this time i added the decals to it before i did it.. Next update is going to be the dust and some rust spots to the supply hummer. Heres a few updated pics.

Don't put very much rust. The whole body is made out of aluminum and doesn't rust. I would just focus on dirtying them up.

First, very nice work, coming along nicely.

Next, heed the advice of my "brother", Heavy Arty. There seems to be this great desire in armor to chip and rust everything. Maybe in WWII vehicles. But in modern vehicles no, no, no. There are so many composites, alloys and other metals used, except for tracks, you don't see any rust.

Chips....if these vehicles chipped their sand paint, you would see the NATO green under it.

Rounds Complete!!
