I think it would be a nice idea. But there are not many kits etc. available for this time period and war.

I think modern British armor would be better. Many British vehicles aren't used there. And to make them fit for Afghanistan you'll need A/M sets like for the Warrior, you'll need slat armour. Not everyone has money and experience to effort that. With modern British armor, from lets say 1980 till now there would be many more options.

If it is modern British armor, I'm in. i still have my Tamiya Chally 2 (a super kit I think).

Hi,thanks for the replys, there are plenty of British vehicles, wheeled and tracked currently in use in Afghan, yes i agree that it could be expensive and the skill set can be high but doe's that mean the rest of us has to suffer?
If every one else agree's i will change the rules to all modern British armour,i.e from the Gulf 1 in 1991 to today,
how's that?

Sounds very good. I would expand the period to include all post WWII British vehicles. Then the Centurion, Chieftain etc. would fit.
That would bring in more people for the campaign and give it more "life".

I am in in any case....

Ok cool, I'm thinking on the original Op Herrick lines, either a dio of a Fire Support Group WMIK or a patrol either taking down a compound or defending a compound, maybe include a couple of ANA or ANP if allowed??
