Does anyone know where I can get a figure approximately 1/35 scale of an elephant? I have a great idea for a small diorama but it depends, of course, on finding one of these puppies.

Hey Bill,
Britains Toys used to make 1/32nd scale African and Asian elephants.
I don't know if they're still available but they should do the trick.
IIRC, Verlinden did an Asian elephant a few years ago.

A German company named Schleich makes some African and Asian elephants. Not sure about the scale but the size of each item is indicated (IMHO the adults should be OK) :

Check international hobbies and any one who sells verlinden products. Verlinden has one number 1543.

I recently used an elephant brand Schleich, the scale is perfect and you have African or Asian elephants also have male, female
