I took these photos back in October 2008 during a visit to the Melbourne Museum (and then kinda forgot about them... oops ) and thought I'd share with you.
This is a diorama put together way back in '59, 1859 that is!
There were a few more diorama's by the same guy, but sadly the museum lighting is really bad and not conducive to photography at all - where it's allowed that is...

Interesting diorama,
Considering it's 150 years old, certainly shows that quality work and materials stands the test of time.

It's in amazing shape and for that age its a really nice diorama.

That is amazing! Especially when you consider that everything would have been hand built. The scope of the project is impressive as well.
