My buildings will all be damaged but I was needing to know would the buildings be brick or brick covered with masonry texture. If they are covered with texture would the buildings be diffrent colores if so what might be some colors. Would wood be used for window and door trim. Also would it be fit to have telephone or electric poles, manholes and such .

Wow - lot of questions there! First, consider CAEN as a very old town in France... and therefore almost every kind of architecture you can think of... buildings before 1600's ofen weren't built well enough to last more than 100 years, unless made of stone, so your really old buildings would be of stone. From the 1700's onward, brick became more commercially viable, and plaster was often used to cover the brick to hide flaws, add insulation, and to provide a smooth surface for painting and pigment dye. So there would be all sorts of buildings.
As for colors, just remember that most poor folk could only afford whitewash as a treatment so most buildings will by white, light grey, or light tan. More affluent people, often shoppe owners had more money, so the commercial district of the town would have had many pastel colored buildings. Again, pastels were cheaper (colored chalk pigment poured into whitewash), while darker colors were usually only available in oil, and thus far more costly.
As for light poles, fire hydrants, etc... yes - the commercial district did have these, but not all of the residential areas.
You can view my rendition of CAEN'44 by going to FEATURES->DIORAMAS and then looking for #1 on the HALL OF FAME List. You might also want to look at ORDERS-44 on the same page, as it has not just a single building, but a full street of buildings... just something to give you ideas.
