Hello,

I'm currently building Trumpeter's LAV-AD and trying to find out what is the correct color for turret interior?

Also if someone has any photos about the turret in real thing please post them. I haven't found any...

Thanks in advance!

Hi Simo,
I just got the Trumpeter kit and I am trying to find the same kind of info. There's not much out there but I did find this:
http://www.1ofthefew.com/lavad.htm

Scroll down to "paint" and you will see that it says the interior is "sea foam green"...I'm thinking that is the light geen color that you see in all kinds of industrial or other settings such as schools, prisons ,etc....

I did find an interior shot of a command LAV and it showed that type of color plus the seats looked grey with black cushions..

I need to know if the seats have seatbelts, what color are the instrument panels, is the glass tinted, etc etc.????

Please let me know if you find out any information!

Hi guys, I am working on the same problems for my LAV AD.

However, I believe I have solved the tinted glass. The colour of the glass is a tinted dark green I think. Look at the photos below. Look at the glass under the arm of the right crew man in the turret. A small area of glass is shown with back ground lighting and it looks green.

With the hatches closed the glass looks tinted black, so maybe this is the way to paint it if the hatches will be closed?

Hope this helps

Hi Jesper,
I'll go with green on my glass...it should look plenty dark with the hatches closed....do you know of any figures that would be correct to look like the guys in the pics, maybe i can leave the hatches open...
