Steve Zaloga is the builder of this model. He posted it over on missing-lynx. I dont know if anyone else visits that site but I think that Steve did such a wonderful job and a rerely seen subject that I just had to post it here for others to enjoy. What a fantatsic job!

Got Steve painted all over it. Great model. Shame the Soviets thought the the tank was crap. 301 Churchill MkIII and IV's were sent to the USSR. The Soviet tank crews were not enthusiastic about the Churchill, because of its speed (16.7 mph) armour , max (4.1 in) and armarment( 3in or 2.2 in)also they were not happy with the fact that its tracks often jamed the turret and were vulnerable from shells and shell fragments. After 1942 the UK ceased sending them

Saw Steve's posting on ML yesterday.
Looks like a sweet kit except for what sounds like an overly complicated suspension.
I'm looking forward to picking one up.
Cheers

That is perfect.
I'm a huge fan of Steve and his books too

Fantastic job! It looks absolutely great - especially when incorporated in the artwork. I have not seen this as ML.

What a great build! I am currently working on one in Lend Lease form. THe Suspension is a real pain in the ars, but I am really impressed with the fine details. I am curious about the instructions reccomending the notched bolts for the hull sides, all the pictures I have of them show the round ones, but Im no expert on the Churchills.

As some really interested in Lend Lease vehicles, this one caught my eye, Steve's work is superb

I just saw that on Perth..... This company came out of nowhere (like all the other Chinese ones lately....) It looks like some good stuff - I might have to invest in some of their products.
Its quite a bit of stuff though for intial offerring. To bad its from their own website and not distributed otherways, maybe that'll change.

Saw that last week on Missing Lynx. Its a beautiful job he has done.
I am going to have to try that toothpaste method. Sounds pretty simple.
