Bernd-- that is one beautiful job. The camoflauge pattern is superb as is the chipping effect. How did you do it?
Great work!

While the Sherman is not my favorite subject, I do enjoy seeing ANYTHING that well built. Great finishing.

Hi Bernd,
Very nice work indeed, excellent finish.
A couple of points, It's missing the .50 ca that was seen on many of the early Sherman Mk II's. Not critical. The tool arrangement on the back of the early tanks was different and it is most likely they would have had a rack for a jerrycan and some spare treads (6) on the rear fenders too.
Other than that an excellent build and lovely finish.

Can't comment on the tank itself but I really like that finish and weathering. I'd like to see a "how to" done on this one.
Well done,

Hey Bernd,
Great job on the paint scheme and weathering !!
Other than the other minor issues already pointed out, the only thing that I noticed was that the M34 gun shield seems to be too close to the mantle rotor.
I haven't been able to find any pictures on the www. but I believe there should be a scale 2 inch gap (51mm) between the shield and the mantle rotor.
Your shield seems to be tight up against the mantle rotor.
Perhaps AlanL or one of the other guys has a photo in mind.
Cheers

Nice build and finish!
How did you find the build? Was the kit up to Dragon's usual standard?
Cheers,
Ian

One of the serious problems in planning against Canadian doctrine is that the Canadians do not read their manuals, nor do they feel any obligations to follow their doctrine.

Hi Bernd,
This is a Mk III but it has a good side view of the M34 gun mount.

Very beautiful finish, you did a great job. I entered a group build on Shermans and I picked the kit you just built. Your work wil certainly serve as an example, although I haven't yet decided the camo scheme. Cheers!

It looks great! I love it. This is one of the best desert camo Shermans I saw.
Thanks for sharing

Hi DJ,
Just a mix of Tamiya Flat Red and Flat white, about 30/70 is what was suggested, mine is probably a bit pink

but it was fun.
