Hello all,

What’s a good model show to go and see in the north eastern United States? There is AMPS International at Havre de Grace, Maryland on April 17 and 18. Any others that are worth attending?

Shameless plug! Valleycon 19 , 29 March 2009 in Chicopee MA.

We typically have over 40 vendor tables in the upstairs vendor room.Alpenflage Hobbies Rare Plane Detective, Sentinel Miniatures, Hobby Bunker, Olde Depot Hobbies, and Time Machine Hobbies are among our regular vendors as well as a good selectio nof private vendors cleaning out their stashes.

Our display room is probably the largest and best lit in New England with room for over 50 display tables. We feature open (gold, silver bronze AMPS/figure show style) judging for figures, vignettes/dioramas, collections and juniors and standard IPMS style (first, second, third) for the other classes.

We have on site hot food and are easy to reach from I-90 and I-91.

If you fancy coming to Canada, there is the Capital Area Modeler's Society (CAMS) 21st Annual Model Show, in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada.

Yep, very close to Westover. For several years before 9/11, our meetings were in a classroom at the base hangar and one year, we actually had the contest in the main area of the base hangar. There was no PA available and I was quite hoarse by the end of the day.
