[edit] Damn, I meant USM "C" covers. Can't edit titles....grrr[/edit]

Hey all, I've looked a bit around for these, but, no dice yet. Maybe some of you can point me in the right direction.

USMC octogonal covers. The hat that just personifies a Marine. I was hoping to find a head set online for sale, or, someone who has an extra in the spares box.
I just need one, hat alone or head with the hat.

Any sources for head sets? I've seen a company or two that makes head sets, but, I can't recall and Co. names at the moment.

Any help will be appreciated.

Cuhail

Verlinden has one in a WWII or Modern combo head set. That's the only one I know of off hand. I may have one, let me look. I bet Hornet has some as well.

Thanks Gino!

I have seen the Verlinden set, but, either the picture was fuzzy, (quite possible) or the face with the hat just sucked.

The Hornet ones were labeled "Modern USA/British Marine heads, 1/35" but the "USA", I think, refered to the U S Army/British Marines because they all had berets and I can't imagine any Marine donning a beret!

I'm still scouring the search engines, though.

I have the head w/USMC hat. The hat is not very sharp though, the points are sort of rounded. Its yours if you want it, just let me know.

Unsharp corners are perfect! I'm actually going to paint it up as an engineers cap (white cap with the narrow blue stripes) and use it for the driver of the Railtank I'm doing. Man oh man, I must have gone through 1000 (well, a LOT of) websites looking for a Marine Corps cover and couldn't find one other than the Verlinden one.

Gino comes through again!
