I am anxious to see how this build and the others you had mentioned will go. I will follow with great interest. Where are you getting the photo references? I have looked all over the internet and not found references as good as those you have. I even searched Hardcorpsmodels.com and could not find the M4A2 tankdozer from your other build. You do outstanding work.

Thanks guys,
Before I do any real painting I'm going to have to stop and clean up my whole shop.
I use a dremal when cutting and finishing up the resin parts, I remember to ware a mask most of the time but every once in a while a part needs a little trimming. And man does the resin fly.
Thanks again for looking and taking the time to comment,
Bob

DJ, Green---
By the time I'm finished it should look like 5 different shades of green all around the Khaki Color

Thanks Mike, a lot of test fitting and sanding on this one.

Here’s my update for the weekend: (Minus the Superbowl)

My problem is that I have to do the entire inside to almost finished before I do the exterior. I always end up breaking off items because I handle the model so much, it’s just safer for me. Which means I have to leave it sit and dry an numerous times so I work on another models while I’m waiting for the other. I started making my amphibious trailer but noticed it didn’t match references so I dove into it some more and discovered I was making the wrong one. I guess the WTCT-6A was exclusive ETO and the WTCT-6 was USMC and upon checking further I was doing the 6A and not the right one. Back in the box for some future work. Now I have to save up for the other one.
My next choice to start is the Army 710th RB Company A M4 Composite;

Almost all Formations kits with some donor parts from the spares box
Started painting the bogies and will create another post for this build.

Thanks for taking the time to look and comment,
Bob

Forgot I have to also make 40 heads for the shield.

Had a couple of quick days on the build and have completed everything.

The tracks literally suck. I was notified about the one coming up already.

Some of the things I noticed;
Removing items for the conversion while leaving items that need to be kept, I need more practice on this I see. Couple of gouges that need to be fixed

I had to finish without completely finishing the weathering because I do the final weathering on all the vehicles in a diorama at the last step, usually just the powders.

Thanks for looking and following along.
3 done (After the fixs) and I think it was 6 more to go.
Bob

Wish I had seen this thread earlier. Next time you do something using the Tamiya M3A1 or M21 kits, you might want to consider using the M2/M3 suspension update from K59. I wrote a review of it here on Armorama.

Hey Bob,
You've done a great job on your conversion !!!
I have the old KMC conversion set in my stash (I think it's the same set as the Warriors) and have putting off building it.
Not complaining mind you but isn't it always the way ?
One can spend a great deal of time converting a kit and then someone like Dragon releases it in plastic !!!

https://armorama.kitmaker.net/news/4416&mode=&order=0

http://www.dragonmodelsusa.com/dmlusa/prodd.asp?pid=DRA6467

Now I have another lump of resin and PE that will never get built as I am inherently lazy and will probably grab the DML kit !!!
Oh well, live and learn !!!
Cheers

Thanks James I appreciate that.

Gary, I'm looking up those suspension replacements. I hate this one so bad I might try and rip these off and do those, have to check first. Thanks for the heads up.

John, that’s always the story isn't it. I looked on the Dragon stuff you sent, for just one reason (trying not to go too far into it) on the shield, it's worth not having to glue on 40 some bolt heads and go with the slide mould from Dragon. You can add up the positives for the conversion with one word---EBay!

Thanks for looking and taking the time to comment,
Bob
