Hi All,

excuse my ignorance I am sure this will make people LOL. Was the Sd.Kfz 232 used by the German's during the Battle for France? Also what other German armoured cars were used?

Thanks all

Yes, the six wheeled variant was being phased out in favor of the eight wheeler in 1940, so both types could be seen. Italeri's six-wheeler is a decent kit, though it's missing a couple of air vents in the lower hulls sides just behind the front wheels. Tamiya's eight wheeler depicts an early production variant with the original style vision ports, so you're good to go. SdKfz 221, 222, and 223 four wheeled armored cars could also be seen. The old Adler Kfz. 13 sometimes made an appearance.
