Hey guys. I made this diorama for my grandfather's birthday. I don't think it will be done in time, but I don't think he'll mind a belated present. I'm having trouble deciding where it's set. I was thinking somewhere in Germany, or any other ruined city in 1945. I'd love some ideas.
The idea for the diorama was to have the guy with the panzershrek aiming for a tank in the distance, and the other guy holding some ammunition for him to reload with. At first the were both looking in the distance, but I wanted to bring attention to the giant crater and ruined building. So I had the loader staring at the crater. I'll paint it ASAP and post new pictures. I'm working on taking pictures so please bear with me. Thanks.

That ruin looks great , very busy. Plenty of rubble and war debris. The creater look the part. The ground-work looks right, so many modellers never get the rubble sitting right. It always looks like it lying on top of the ground, not burried in it like you have done. looking forward to some paint

Nice work on the face. It isn't such a overhighlighted one like seen these days. It looks like an angry German.

It's a good think the walls are mostly blown out. Firing a Panzerschreck inside a room is lethal to the firer.

Looks good so far.
I'm wondering if a third figure on the far left would maybe add a bit more, tho. Maybe kneeling and pointing in the direction the loader is looking?

Yeah, I'll try that. I may just make it the one guy. More moody that way. And I'll get it finished for Sunday.

Sorry for the long silence. I got the nastiest computer virus I've ever seen. I couldn't log into windows, couldn't go into safemode, couldn't do anything. I finally got it fixed to the point where I can log on, but it's still in my computer. I'll try to post pics soon.

What a lovely layout of a ruin. Very detailed rubble and debris, realistic look ! The figures fit in just perfect, and as you are finishing them : great ! Continue like you are doing now and it will be T O P !

Sorry about the time gap, I got a nasty virus on my computer. Anyways, I'm almost finished, maybe 95%, but I'm not sure I'm happy with it. The pictures aren't the best but I'll take some better ones in the morning. Please be honest with the critiquing, I really want to learn how to get better.
