I did. I saw it and assumed I'd read it - mixed it up with your Tankers in denims review
Good set. I don't have them but I'm slowing collecting all the resicast Tankers. Thanks for the review.

Thanks for the review, Al.

Not sure if I'd have rated it so highly given the amount of clean-up (I concede it's not that much, but IMO too much for 95% ) and the lack of originality of the 2 half figure torsos. I also find it strange that 5 heads were supplied, and not 6 - 2 heads are better than 1, but not if you're a tanker commander?

Once again, thanks for the review - so when do we get to see them painted up?

Hi Rudi,

Yip putting a % on any kit is hard, it's not something I really like doing but it's required in the reviews. That said they do paint up well and look the part and I'm not much of a figure builder.

I'm not a fan of 1/2 figs either but as I said they do have their uses,. There looks to be a lot of clean up on the commander but the pour block is only attached by a thin film of resin so nothing major really.

Here's the tank commander from an earlier build:

Can't remember if the driver is an Ultracast figure or not and the gunner is a scratched tamiya one. One of these days I will add the Irish Guards Shoulder patches!!

Pat,

You're like me, lol, lol, mixing up Resicast and Ultracast

Hey All,
Thanks for the heads up, that's exactly what happened !!!
Must be that damn 8 hour time difference !!!
Another example of people taking a look, not posting a comment and the thread drops from the main page
I still have to pick up a few of these recent releases from Ultracast.
Great review, they're are certainly an incentive to pick up these sets.
Cheers

Thanks Alan !

I've done this set, and it is top notch ! I used a Hornet head for the driver because of the lack of headphones,

Cheers

Hi Paul,

Thanks.

Ultracast have some cracking figures, especially the later releases.
