It's the trumpeter late tiger version in 1/72. With Eduard PE accessories and zimm,
Eureka tow cables a bit of clematis as an unditching log and some foil burnished round
the kit parts for the exhuast guards.
It's my first vehicle and first use of an airbrush. I'll not be using enamel through an
airbrush again. What a stink!

Please give me some feedback as this is my first vehicle.

Hi JP,
looks very nice. I had made the same experience with enamels, so I have been painting with Tamiya or Lifecolor acrylics since. Mainly second ones I can recommend, they make very perfect surface and keep color very close to original.

Thanks for the kind encouragement guys. I've just tried to follow the steps I see most used here on armorama.
It has been a battle I've started paint job twice, using oven cleaner to paint strip and breaking the gun barrel too.
Chipping is the next skill I want to learn.

Nice job with your Tiger there JP! Like the log on the side, looks great!

What happened with the enamels vs airbrush? Haven't had too many issues, other than the lacquer thinner smell to clean it??

Cheers -
Tim

thanks lyndon and tim. Is no-one going to give me tips for improvement though?

yeah any time I need 1/72 logs my neighbours clematis will be getting some hard pruning.
Oh the paint is fine. It is just the smell. Acrylics only through the airbrush till I get a fume
cupboard. I am pleased how it turned out but a lot of credit must go to trumpeter for such
a good fitting and nicely detailed kit, decals too went on like a dream.

The old hasegawa tiger i'm currently making is not going to be anywhere
near as nice.
