I just picked up Concord's US Armored Funnies book, and now am wondering if any after-market company ever produced a kit/conversion of the T1 E1 Mine Roller, aka Earthworm, which was attached to the M32 TRV?
As I have an extra Italieri M32 kit in the stash that came in a bundle of kits I found cheap, I think it would be an interesting variant to model.
Or perhaps I would have to scratchbuild the roller

I thought I saw Academy produce this. Or is it different...
anyway, that would be a cool looking model.

An ancient attempt was made by the defunct I Corps company. It's complete trash. The T1E1 is the purview of scratchbuilders

That is the one. But it looks like a scratchbuild project it will be.

Thanks Roy for the links. Jim Weschsler's article on track-link looks especially helpful.
Now, do you or anybody else know where I can get scale plans or diagrams of the T1E1?

I am planning on attempting this with a M32 in 1/35, I am such a masochist. I found that Brach from Italy makes a mine roller for a converted Char B1s that looks lik it was developed from the T1E1 Earthworm. I forget if it is from the Barrel Store or R&J
