I had a chance to do a "Semi-Walkaround" of this M60A3 that is sitting in front of the Bosselman/Pilot Travel Center in Grand Island, NE.
This piece of armor has been sitting in the elements for the better part of 10 yrs.
It's starting to show its age and the effects weather have taken on this Tank.

Again, Enjoy.

DJ,

If anyone gets out for a road trip this summer here in the states, you might want to check out this Museum, The Heartland Military Museum, Lexington, NE, Exit 237, I-80.
I've personally driven by the place but I've never been able to stop and check it out.

You can see it from the Highway and they have a M4A3E8 out front along with other equipment, Helo's, Jeeps, M4 Fast Tractor, Bradley, M113, and one of the first military tractors. They have a Website too, no photos of whats on site I'm afraid.

Next time I'm thru that area I'll see if I can't stop and snap some pix for you all.

I'm not sure on the M48 but I may be able to grab some M113 pix, might be awhile.
I've got a ACAV M113 in the pile I've been toying around with.
I bought some models from a buddy of my a few years back and might have the M48, he was going to throw them out.
I'll see if I can post them here in a few hours.
