I am slowly getting there with my very first 1-72 diorama, this will be set in late 1945 the closing days of WW2, it still isn't finished, and several things require a touch of paint, the whaleback rescue boat rigging has snapped, so that among other things are all on the to do list. At this stage I could use as many comments as possible, as I have every intention of building another one after my last 2 ships (not looking forward to those). Look forward to your reply.

Its coming along well. I would try and add a bit of highlight drybrush on the thatched roof it looks a bit 'flat' where the 'tie' down "X"'s are.
I personally like a dark edge where the base is built up. Touch up the cracks too.
Last little nit pick, don't forget the powerlines.

LOL you don't want much from my first diorama. Honestly though, I have all these ideas in my head, its just trying to make them happen, I really do enjoy the response, comments and before I finally finish this off, I'll take a deep breath and 'try' and sort those problems out on this diorama, this is what I have been actually looking forward too the most, comments, as I really haven't much of a clue as to what I am doing, I read, check and read again to make sure I know I'm aiming in the right direction. Thank you very much for the replies.

You're doing a great job on this. For a 1st diorama and a braille scale at that -it's really good.
You take all comments well, and responde in a great way. Because of that you'll get better every day.
Quick tip on the power lines, just run a couple down from the pole to the corner of the building. Put a small insulator (bead or small blob of resin glue) on a small piece of toothpick or streatched sprue. Then put a small piece of thread from the insulator to the building. It will finish off the power pole detail and when people see it, it will have enough detail to be "complete", not just a pole.
