Hi everyone. I understand this is a freaquently asked question, and i just figured I would share a bit of reasearch that i found greatly useful for picking out the colors for my US Infantry.

NOTE: Do not use Vallejo Green Grey for webbing. Any panzer yellow is an almost perfect match for the "khaki" colored web gear (in comparison to photos and my repro gear.) If Vallejo Acyrlics are prefered, use Middlestone.
Disclaimer: Bear in mind that "khaki" colored uniforms varied per factory. Almost every soldier wore a different shade of "khaki" Also, weather conditions played a huge role in uniform color.
So, that said and done, i hope this helps. Happy painting!
