As you can prob guess it still needs work done to it but please feel free to leave me any hints or tips you might have on this thread.
The 502nd mammoth
As this is a running r/c model i have left the tracks and the running gear prity much as they come as i would like to think that once this snow clears it will be out in the mud and any work done in that area will be covered in mud and hidden.

Looks good Andrew.
I see some green splotches, are they camo or what? I think it does make sense of running it around in the mud for the suspension. That way if anyone says the mud doesn't look realistic, you could tell them otherwise.
Is everything full functional RC wise? I mean does the turret turn and gun elevate? Inquiring minds want to know...
Looks good; bet it's fun to drive around
Richard

Hi Richard the green splotches are whats left of the old paint work needs weathering a bit to get rid of that horrible shine a bit,and yes fully R/C,i disconnected the BB firing when i swapped the main armament gun mantlet over so it was on the right side the gunner.in the image below you can just make out the inner metal baral.

1 question though now if this gets muddy and i let it dry what would be the best to seal it with matt varnish ?

Thanks for the explanation. I don't really know much for the varnish. Personally, any mud above the suspension I'd do it. I wouldn't want to seal anything on the moving parts of the suspension because you don't want to waste money for the RC system. So this is my suggestions:
1. Matt varnish anything that doesn't move. (above the suspension or on the front/rear plates)
2. Don't varnish the suspension or anything that does move, so you can still drive it around.
Hope I helped,
Richard
