I understand there is a small issue with the wheels and some vents on the hull for this kit. What needs to be changed. I am not sure which vents it is. Thanks.

It's a soft edged turret, actually--only Zvezda and Tamiya offer the hard edged variant of the hexagonal turret at this point, and Tamiya's is misproportioned. The complaint about the engine grill is the shape of the large mesh screen at the top rear of the engine deck. In most photos, this variant is seen to have a frame with square corners, while Dragon provides a screen with rounded corners as seen on earlier vehicles. That said, it does match a recently published drawing, so perhaps that arrangement was appropriate for some machines. This seems to be last minute switch on Dragon's part, because the plastic part the photoetch is supposed to be attached to doesn't match the supplied brass screen. Any aftermarket photoetch (Eduard, for instance) set for a mid to late model Dragon or Zvezda T-34 will include a suitable replacement (however, sets intended for Tamiya kits will have an oversized screen).
As for the wheels, there were a tremendous number of variations of all steel or rubber rimmed wheels, so mix and match from the spares box as you wish. Some fussier builders have noted the size of the lightening holes seems a bit small compared to photos of preserved tanks, but again, that may be a legitimate variation.

That's one of the complaints about the engine deck. I am not sure I understand the other complaint myself but I know there is one.

My personal opinion is that DML's steel-rimmed wheels are way too heavy in the raised ribbed areas of the wheel. Tamiya's looks better, although I haven't measured them to find out if theirs are the correct diameter. The tanks left the factories with a fairly well-defined arrangement of wheels. But you're right that once they were in the field, wheels were replaced with whatever spare was available.
