great new photo's of the new churchill A .V.R.E MkIII
but why have they have put the three rectangular inspection plate's on the side
air intakes when these where a post war addition ,and the correct one's are in
the kit

Well thats my resicast ones going in the bin.
Saves me the struggle of modifying a Mk7 to a Mk3/ 4.
And that AVRE turret means i can now build a Mk6 Scots Guards!

Hi Matt
I wouldn't be too hasty, the kit shown is based on the Mk III AVRE and not the more common Mk IV AVRE that had the cast turret. Of course it depends on what you want, although the older Resicast turret was made for the Tamiya kit, so probably wouldn't be appropriate for the new AFV Churchill which is why Resicast have produced a new cast turret for the AFV kit.

Hi Al,
Have thrown the hull and kept the turret and ring.
I just wasn't happy with the fit between the resicast Hull front.

Hi Matt,
Yes, the replacement front hull takes a bit of careful cutting and fitting. I still have a set for a second one but haven't gotten around to it yet. I shall wait and see if there is a decrease in the old Tamiya kit price but will get the new AVRE too as it has the alternative turret and offers up possibilities for the ARK Mk I.
Enjoy the build when it comes, I see several of these beasties in my future, well as many versions as they produce or I can convert!!
Cheers
