Hello gents. I just started this kit and have got all the bogies together. The problem is the seams from where the two bogie halves join. I cannot find any reference photo to show if they were in reality two halves with a seam?
As well, the seam under the track guide wheel is almost impossible to get two once they are joined. Should these seams be filled and sanded, or left for realism? Thanks for any help!

No seams on the bogies in the areas you're talking about. Keep in mind that the track support roller arm could be mounted on either side of the bogie so that area is the same on both sides. See the pics on my site:
