Ok, this is more of a tease than anything, but I thought I would tackle the Tamiya T-55 and the SP Designs T-55M5 kit this year. I just got a e-mail asking for some T-55 reference links so I thought, what the heck, put them both together.
Now, just to be clear, I have the 2 SU-100 kits and the MAZ-537/T-80U to finish up first, as well as the M981 FIST-V , M109A2, and M60A3 consignment builds, so don't go holding your breath...

Thanks for the links, Jacques (especially the last one). This ought to be something unique when it's done; good ole T-55 with modern goodies. You have my attention

I'm new to modern armor and look forward to following your build and learn a thing or two. The links you posted are great, I've already checked them out and they are helping me with my T55's I'm working on at the moment.
I look forward to checking out the first pics of your build.

Hi It not often I get angry , but someone has lifted the original drawings of the internals of the T 55 Manual . A - without asking if they could be used and B -without any credit to me as the originator of them .
So to the owner of the said site give credit were credit is due .
It leaves a bad taste in my mouth when this happens Ian Sadler

Hello Ian,
I am assuming you are the originator of the T-55 manual scans? Sorry to see that you are not given credit. I have no control of the site nor do I know who runs it or who posted the pics, so no help there.
However, I will say THANK YOU for the scans of the manual. I cannot remember, but are you the originator for the .pdf of the scans on Tanknet? Big help and again, a big thank you.

Ian,
what makes you think they're your scans?
edit: this in response to Ian Sadlers' post above.
