After looking over Toma's awsome Abrams, I'll post mine...... Now one thing
I AM not an experienced (obviously) armor builder, this is my 2nd ever armor build since I'm usually a car builder! so their are a few errors some which I've fixed since these pics. were taken.
one thing I observed while looking at dozens of Abrams pics. was the "individuality of these units in the field ...so be nice....

Very nice job, especially since this is only your 2nd armour build. The weathering is really well done and not over the top. The only real issue that i can see is the tracks. A little off the drive sprocket on one side and loose on the other. I'm a big fan fan of stowage and you have represented that aspect rather well.
If you can send me some 15-20 pics with a small write-up on the build i will upload an On Display feature for Armorama.

Brian, very nice for a 2nd go at armor. In reviewing your pics quickly, a couple of minor points:
The ,50 cal box on the rear mud flap is odd. The Marines have a field phone box located there (not .50 cal box) but this is an Army tank. While Sgt Olson from 3rd ID put a .50 box there for an electrical inverter (see my Abrams build) I am pretty sure no other 3rd ID tankers did this. So I am not sure what you mean to depict there.
The duffel bag hanging on the side of the turret (and rear of the bustle rack) would be better placed inside the bustle rack. Tankers have a load plan and I believe they never place those bags on the sides of the turret. Also, one strap in the middle would not hold such a bag, it would work it's way loose to either side.
I agree the tracks seem a bit loose.
But overall, very nice. I love to see 3rd ID stuff.

As the others have said, overall a very nice job. The one thing that looks off to me is the placement of the spare tracks on the front, sides of the turret. There is nothing there to hold them on. They are usually hung off the grunt rails or bustle rack using a center guide tooth around the rail. Other than that ,and what the others have mentioned, it looks pretty good.
By the way, there is no hyphen in the name. It is just M1A1.

Thanks for the kind words guys!!...Bob the box on the rear is something I saw in a ref. pic. and it was for a phone, but it probably doesn't belong, and I see what your saying on the duffels Gino the spare tracks were misplaced and have been removed as this was pointed out to me on another forum..as for the tracks..hey they look fine to me I had a little trouble working out the magic tracks since they don't really give any instr. for installing them if I do another I know what to do now. Rick, thanks I'd be very pleased to submit it
I think some of my errors stem from looking at so many diff. M1A1 ref pics. and they're all unique...also I've never seen a real live Abrams!! so I'll claim some artistic license Thanks again fellas
P.S Bob I looked up your Abrams...Magnificant man

Hey Brian, nice job!! I'm glad to see you've paid attention to the stowage being secured. I hate seeing bags, gear and jerry cans that magnetically stick to the side of a vehicle.
