Where would be the best place to purchase an M998 so that I can build it into an NTC OC hummer? Since I am in Georgia I have very few options of hobby shops to go and shop at. Unless someone knows of where I can find one around Fort Stewart.
Thanks
Ric

I used cheap Academy and Italeri HMMWVs for the ones I made while out there. It doesn't really matter which one you start with, they are pretty much stripped down. I scratched the B piller, bakini top, sleeping box on back, radios, water jugs, etc. You can see them in my Showcase II below. I made a bunch as farewell gifts for OCs as they left.
I second eBay. You can find a lot of teh older HMMWVs on there for a good price. Also try the Buy, Sell, Trade Forum here too.

Hey Gino,
I'm not seeing your "Showcase II" link.
I'm really surprised Tamiya hasn't expanded their HMMWV kit line. It would be easy money in the bank. I really wish they would do an Avenger.

Whoops, sorry. Its just the Showcase link here. It will take you to my PhotoBucket Acct. Look down the folders on the left for OC HMMWV.
As to the Avenger, Italeri's isn't bad. You can add it to a Tamiya HMMWV too.
