Do you know if they come with a set of modern style liners (ammunition boxes)?

Amazing quality, but the scale issue....

Jon refers to other manufacturers without the scale problems. Anyone know which one(s) he means?

I have the set from Mission Models but have not scaled them out. They do appear to be a tad long when held up to an academy .50 cal.There are 25 links in the fret, and 24 rounds. No ammo box is included.

Looks like a must have item to me!!!

These do look good though, unfortunate about the scale if you plan on using them where that will come into play.

the ammo cans do not come with any modern gubbins, as they are a specific WWII set. The cans themselves are very nice, but they build into a plain box and that's your lot.

As for the scale issue... the Mission set actually appears more to scale. I have a set somewhere but unfortunately due to moving house shortly they're packed up and will probably require an archeological effort to dig up in future shame as I would have liked to do a photo-comparison.

Shame about the scale really... either way I used the set to satisfactory effect after building a new ammo cradle for the gun and doing some surgery on the gun's entry port. It wasn't as straightforward as I would have liked but what is in this damned hobby

Nice useful review and thanks for flagging up the scale issue. I've used the mission ones with a Dragon Sherman and they seemed to just about fit in the .50 cal.

Very good review Jon of a product that looks and goes together well, but that is to damn big for the intended purpose.

having built these you will need a degree in pure patience to put the rounds and connectors together with out feeling the need to commit murder. The ammo cases go together all right but the rounds dear god never again.

They are the most stressful thing I have ever tried to do

Excuse my question, but I’m looking for some .50 call ammo in 1/32 scale for a p-51 and I’m not able to find any.

So, if this bullets are big and closer to the 1/32 scale, maybe I can use them but I would like if any of you can give me the measure of a bullet so I can decide.

I'm with you Charly, looks like I'll be buying a pack or 3 for my 1/32 scale Tamiya Mustang.

Goes to show that sometimes a bad effort can turn into a great result!

Sorry to bother but anyone can give the long of the bullets? I wanna know the actual size of the bullets to see if they fit for a 1/32 scale mustang.

Sorry for the delay, got caught up with some other stuff.

From what an english modeller told me the LionRoar cal.50 bullets indeed fit for 1/32 scale better than for 1/35. Can't tell if he's right because i've only used the set from Voyager so far (which is nice, by the way).
