Hi All
I was wondering what paint combonations (ie Type and Amount) that people use to be able to get that U.S. WWII Brown Drab that was used on armor. Maybe you can tell me of a paint that is already mixed to the right color or combonations of paints mixed to achieve this color.
Thanks
Orion

For 1:76 scale Humbrol 155 is a good faded olive drab. Tamiya X62 is meant to be reasonable for 1:35 scale though it still looks a bit dark to me.

I'm working on an Green drab sci-fi kit now. I was going for the WW2 US vehicle look and I think it turned out pretty good.
I used MM Acryl Green Drab over a black primer coat. I then used very thin Tamiya buff to build up the color in the center areas of the panels and misted the same ove the whoel kti to blend the colors together. I can't give you any ratios as I do it by eye and how it looks on a test kit.
Feel free to check the "dollhouse" folder HERE.
