I have started this years 2009 with one of the Trumpeter "beasts": the soviet tank transporter MAZ-537G with relative semitrailer. The kit is not bad, but some details are lacking, e.g. no brake lines, no details on the trasmission, no detail in the driver cab and so on. What a pity! But the modelers are there to become involved their own life and so I have started, with a little bit of madness, the modifications. Now stop to the words and go with the pictures: obviously, any comment will be appreciated (sorry for my bad english).

I really like your additional detailing! So nice to see how other modelers tackle this build.

Nice work. Much of what you are doing needs to be done, I thought of doing it in my own build, but I have no time. Keep up the good work and keep posting.

Wonderful start Paolo! Looks like you've got your work cut out for you, keep at it. Looking forward to seeing your progress with this one, like the big transports!

dear friends
I apologize with all the forum modelers, but, due to my boring work, my loved hobby is a little bit stagnat. I hope that in the course of a few weeks I can put again my hands on the "beast"!
See you soon
Paolo

Hi Paolo,
Nice start -- I know what you mean about finding the time to model, but please keep this going as I'd love to see more of your work on this
Cheers,
Ian
